Invite collaborators and control what they can access or edit.

👥 How to Add and Manage Team Members
Yearbook advisers and senior editors can add team members to collaborate on a project. This allows multiple users to access and work on the yearbook simultaneously.
➕ Adding a New Team Member
Click the "New Team Member" button in the top-right corner of your project dashboard.
Enter:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address the user will use to sign in

Select a role for the team member (see role definitions below).

⚠️ If assigning the Editor role, select which pages or sections they should have access to.

Click Save.
🔐 How a Team Member Joins the Project
- Open the invitation email.
- Click Sign In or Sign Up.
- Create an account or sign in.
‼️Important:
- The email used to create the account must match the email the invitation was sent to.
- If the emails do not match, the project will not appear in their dashboard.
- If the invitee already has an account, they must log out first before signing in again to see the new project.
After signing in:
- The project will appear under My Projects.
- Click the cover thumbnail.
- Select Edit to open the book.

✏️ Editing Team Members
Hover over the team member’s name.
Click the pencil icon.
Update their:
Name
Assigned role
Click Save.
Note:
Email addresses cannot be changed.
To update an email address, delete the user and re-invite them using the correct email.
❌ Removing Team Members
To remove someone from the project:
Hover over their name.
Click the X icon.
🧩 Team Member Roles Explained
📚 Adviser
- Full project access
- Can manage team members
- Can manage photos
- Can manage store
- Can request PDF proof
- Only role that can place orders
🛠️ Senior Editor
- Same permissions as Adviser except:
- Cannot place orders
- Cannot manage store
- Cannot adjust book price
📄 Editor
- Assigned to specific sections only
- Must create sections before assigning this role
- Cannot access unassigned sections
📷 Photo Editor
- Access to Manage Photos only
- Cannot edit pages or sections
👁️ Viewer
- Can view the book
- Cannot make edits
- Ideal for proofreaders or reviewers
