What are Love Lines?

Love Lines are text based dedications that can be written and purchased by parents to be printed in a school yearbook to honor and recognize a student's achievements.

Enabling Love Lines

If you are a yearbook adviser and would like to offer Love Lines, you will need to enable Parent Ads first. Open Parent Ad settings and scroll to the bottom until you see the option for Love Lines. Love Lines should be turned on by default, but if they aren't, you can enable them by clicking the check box. You may also change the price you would like to sell Love Lines for. Once you are finished making changes, click the Save button to save your changes. Now you can share your Parent Ads Home URL with parents and start collecting ads and Love Lines!

Managing Love Lines

Once parents start to purchase Love Lines, you will be able to see them by clicking the Love Lines tab in the left panel of the Parent Ads Manager.

Here you will be able to see all the Love Lines that have been purchased by parents. To use the Love Lines on a page, simply click the "Copy Text" button and the text will be copied to your computer's clipboard.

Note: If you would like to copy all of the Love Lines at once, click the "Select All" check box and hit the "Copy Selected" button to copy all the text from all the Love Lines.

Once the text is copied to your clipboard, you can navigate to any page in the yearbook, add a text box to the page, and paste the text into the text box. You can paste the text by hitting Ctrl+v (Cmd+v for Mac) on your keyboard.

Note: If you would prefer to work in a 3rd party editor, feel free to paste the text into any 3rd party photo/text editing software. Then you can save as a .jpg or .png and upload as an image into the yearbook editor.
