How to Enter a Military APO/FPO/DPO Shipping Address

When shipping to a U.S. military address overseas, it's important to enter the address correctly to ensure smooth delivery through the Armed Forces postal system. Follow the guidelines below to properly format an APO, FPO, or DPO address during checkout.

📬 Address Line 1

Enter the following based on the branch of service:

  • Army, Navy, Marines:
    Unit Number and Box Number
    (Example: Unit 2050 Box 4190)
  • Ships:
    Ship Name and Hull Number
    (Example: USS Nimitz CVN 68)
  • Air Force:
    PSC Number and Box Number
    (Example: PSC 802 Box 15)

🏢 Address Line 2 (Optional)

Include the name of the military command, unit, or organization, if applicable.

🏙️ City

  • Enter one of the following (must be in all caps):
    APO (Army Post Office)
    FPO (Fleet Post Office)
    DPO (Diplomatic Post Office)

🌍 State

  • Select the appropriate option from the dropdown:
    • AA – Armed Forces America (excluding Canada)
    • AE – Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada
    • AP – Armed Forces Pacific

🔢 ZIP Code

  • Enter the 5-digit or 9-digit ZIP Code associated with the military unit or installation.

Note: Military addresses are handled by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), and do not require international postage. Make sure not to include the country name (e.g., "Germany" or "Japan") in the address, even if the destination is located overseas.
