How to Enter a Military APO, FPO, or DPO Shipping Address
Format U.S. military and diplomatic shipping addresses correctly during checkout.

📖 Overview
When shipping an order to a U.S. military or diplomatic address overseas, the address must be entered using the correct APO, FPO, or DPO format.
These addresses are processed through the U.S. Postal Service and should be entered as domestic U.S. addresses rather than international addresses.
📬 Enter Address Line 1
Enter the appropriate unit or location information based on the branch of service.
Army, Navy, or Marines
Enter the Unit Number and Box Number.
Example:Unit 2050 Box 4190
Ships
Enter the Ship Name and Hull Number.
Example:USS Nimitz CVN 68
Air Force
Enter the PSC Number and Box Number.
Example:PSC 802 Box 15
🏢 Enter Address Line 2
Address Line 2 is optional.
Enter the military command, unit, or organization name when applicable.
🏙️ Enter the City
For the City field, enter one of the following in all capital letters:
- APO – Army Post Office
- FPO – Fleet Post Office
- DPO – Diplomatic Post Office
Do not enter the overseas city where the recipient is physically located.
🌎 Select the State
Select the appropriate Armed Forces abbreviation from the State dropdown:
- AA – Armed Forces Americas, excluding Canada
- AE – Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada
- AP – Armed Forces Pacific
🔢 Enter the ZIP Code
Enter the 5-digit or 9-digit ZIP Code assigned to the military unit or installation.
Use the military ZIP Code associated with the recipient's APO, FPO, or DPO address.
⚠️ Do Not Enter a Country
Military APO, FPO, and DPO addresses are handled through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and do not require international address formatting.
Do not enter the country where the recipient is stationed, such as:
- Germany
- Japan
- Italy
- South Korea
Entering a foreign country may cause the address to be treated incorrectly as an international shipment.

Before continuing through checkout, verify that:
- The unit, box, PSC, or ship information is correct.
- The City field contains APO, FPO, or DPO.
- The correct AA, AE, or AP state abbreviation is selected.
- The military ZIP Code is correct.
- No foreign country has been entered.
