πŸ“˜ Introduction

If Creator Studio pages, images, or tools are not loading correctly, the issue may be caused by network firewall restrictions or content filtering systems used by your school.

This article provides the required domains and services that must be allowed for Creator Studio to function correctly.

These instructions are intended for school IT administrators responsible for managing network security and firewall settings.

πŸ”Œ Required Network Ports

Creator Studio requires the following network ports to be open:

  • Port 80 (HTTP)
  • Port 443 (HTTPS)

Most school networks already allow these ports, but restrictive firewalls or filtering systems may block specific services routed through them.

🌐 Complete Domain Whitelist

If your school network uses firewall filtering, content filtering, or DNS restrictions, ensure the following domains are allowed.

This list includes Creator Studio services, image storage, storefront services, and required third-party services.

IT administrators can copy and paste the full list below directly into firewall or DNS allow lists.

☁️ Amazon S3 Storage Access

Creator Studio stores images, backgrounds, and design assets using Amazon S3 cloud storage.

If S3 domains are blocked, the following issues may occur:

  • images not appearing in the editor
  • backgrounds or artwork failing to load
  • uploaded photos missing
  • blank page areas in the designer

The S3 services included in the whitelist above must remain accessible for Creator Studio to function properly.

Some school networks block generic S3 domains by default. If images fail to load, verify that Amazon S3 domains are allowed.

🏫 Network Filtering Systems (Example: iBoss)

If your school uses network filtering systems such as iBoss, Creator Studio domains may need to be bypassed within the filtering system.

Possible IT solutions include:

  • bypassing Creator Studio domains from SSL inspection or SSL decryption
  • bypassing domains within the network PAC file
  • adding Creator Studio domains to the firewall allow list

Once the required domains are allowed, Creator Studio services should load normally.
