🧭 What Themes Do for Your Design Workflow
Pre-designed themes give you a fast, professional starting point for page design. Each theme includes matching layouts, graphics, and backgrounds so your book stays visually consistent without needing advanced design experience. Themes can be applied fully or used selectively, making them flexible for both beginners and advanced users.
🧭 How to Access Themes
Open your page in the editor.
Click the Templates tab in the left toolbar.

Browse available themes and select one to preview its elements.
📌 Tip: New themes are added periodically throughout the year, so check back if you don’t see one that fits your style.
🧩 Applying a Theme to Pages
Select a theme to view its components.

Drag and drop a layout or spread onto your page.

If the theme is designed for a two-page spread, you’ll be prompted to convert your pages before applying it.

⚠️ Important: Applying a theme replaces all existing elements on the selected page(s), including photos, text, and graphics. For best results, apply themes to blank pages.
🛠️ Using Individual Theme Elements
You are not required to apply a full theme. After selecting one, you can filter its contents to display only:
- Layouts
- Backgrounds
- Art elements
This allows you to mix theme components with your own designs for a custom look while still maintaining stylistic consistency.

💡 Best Practices
- Apply themes early in your design process to avoid overwriting existing work.
- Use individual theme elements if your page already contains content.
- Maintain consistency by using the same theme across similar sections.
- Preview spreads before applying to confirm layout compatibility.
✅ Closing Note
Themes are one of the fastest ways to create visually cohesive pages while reducing design time. Whether you apply an entire theme or only select elements, they provide a strong creative foundation that keeps your yearbook polished and professional from start to finish.
