🖼️ Applying and Customizing Portrait Layouts

➕ How to Apply a Portrait Layout

Open the portrait Page you want to design.

Click the page you want to apply the layout to.

In the left sidebar, click the Layouts tab.

Scroll the layout panel and click a thumbnail to select layouts by portraits per page.

Each layout displays a left and right version. Click your desired layout.

Drag and drop to apply the layout:

  • Selected Page — Applies to only the current page (left or right).
  • Entire Section — Applies to every page in the section.

Click Apply.

If your page already contains non-portrait elements (text, images, shapes, art, or lines), you will be prompted to choose whether to remove them.

Leave “Don’t delete existing elements” checked to keep them.

Uncheck it for a clean layout.

✏️ Editing a Portrait Layout

After applying a layout, click the page you want to modify.

  • Click Edit Layout in the left panel.

Modify portrait spaces:

  • Click red X icons to remove portrait slots.
  • Click green + icons to add portrait slots back.

  • Click Apply when finished.

Optional settings before applying:

  • Apply to Entire Section — Uses the layout across all pages.
  • Save as New Layout — Saves the design for reuse.
  • Allow other team members to use this layout — Makes it available to collaborators.

Enter a name in the Name field to label your layout.

If you want to keep existing page elements when applying changes, leave Don’t delete existing elements checked. Uncheck it for a clean page.

Saved layouts can be accessed from the dropdown menu in the left panel under:

  • My Layouts
  • Team Layouts

🧩 Portrait Grid Builder

The Portrait Grid Builder allows you to create custom portrait layouts with precise control.

To open:

Click Portrait Grid Builder while on a portrait page.

You can adjust:

  • Number of rows and columns
  • Name placement
  • Portrait aspect ratio
  • Spacing between portraits
  • Portrait alignment and positioning

  • A live preview updates as you make changes.

When finished:

  • Click Apply to use the layout.

Optional:

  • Check Apply to Entire Section to use it across all pages.
  • Check Save as New Layout to reuse it later.
  • Check Allow other team members to use this layout to share it.

Enter a layout name before applying.

As with standard layouts, you can choose whether to keep or remove existing page elements using the Don’t delete existing elements checkbox.

🖼️ With portrait layouts and the Grid Builder tools, you can efficiently design organized, professional portrait pages while maintaining flexibility for customization and future adjustments.
