📸 How to Collect Photos for Your Yearbook

Creator Studio provides several ways to collect photos from parents, students, teachers, and staff. You can use one method or combine multiple options depending on how your school prefers to gather photos.

🛒 Collect Photos Through Your Storefront

When your yearbook storefront is open, users who visit the store and create an account can access the Share Photos option.

To use the storefront for photo contributions:

• Go to the Sell tab.
• Open your yearbook storefront.
• Share the storefront URL with parents, students, teachers, and staff.
• Ask contributors to select Share Photos and upload their images.

Managing Submitted Photos

Photos submitted through the storefront can be reviewed from:

Dashboard → Contributed Photos → Manage

From the Manage area, you can review:

• Pending Photos
• Approved Photos
• Denied Photos

• You can also sort submissions by contributor, or File Name and use bulk actions to approve or deny multiple photos at once.

✅ Once a photo is approved, it becomes available for use in the appropriate photo section of your project.

❌ If a photo is denied at any time it will be removed from all pages and sections in a project.

🔗 Request Photos Using a Contribution Link

You can also collect photos without requiring contributors to access your storefront.

To copy your contribution link:

• Go to the Contributed Photos area on your dashboard.
• Click Request Photos.
• Click Copy Link.

• Send the link through email, text, or your school's communication system.
• Contributors can use the link to upload photos directly.

💡 Recommended Practice

Share contribution links directly with your school community rather than posting them publicly on social media. This can help reduce unwanted or unrelated submissions.

✉️ Send Photo Request Emails

The Request Photos option can also send upload invitations directly by email.

To send an email invitation:

• Go to Contributed Photos.
• Click Request Photos.

• Enter one or more email addresses. Separate multiple addresses with commas.
• Add an optional message describing the photos you need.
• Send the invitation.

For example, you can request photos from a specific event, grade level, club, or sports team.

Recipients will receive an email containing your message and a direct photo upload link.

📱 Collect Photos Through Social Media

Schools can also use a dedicated social media account to gather yearbook photos.

You may create a yearbook-specific account or page on platforms such as:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• X

Ask members of your school community to submit photos by posting, tagging the yearbook account, or sending photos through direct messages.

When requesting photos this way, ask contributors to include names or other identifying information when appropriate so the photos can be organized later.

📧 Use a Dedicated Photo Email Address

Another option is to create a separate email address specifically for yearbook photo submissions.

Share the address with your school community and ask contributors to email their photos throughout the year.

Using a dedicated account keeps photo submissions separate from your regular school or personal inbox.

🔒 Collect Photos Through Vidigami

If your school uses Vidigami, photos stored there can also be used with your yearbook project.

Vidigami provides a private photo-sharing environment that schools can use to organize contributions from parents and staff.

Photos stored in Vidigami can then be uploaded into your project.
