✨ Overview

Creator Studio Pro attempts to merge duplicate portrait records when the same portrait data is imported more than once. Successful merging depends on the imported student data matching exactly.

👤 How Duplicate Portrait Imports Are Handled

For duplicate portraits to merge, all associated information must match, including:

  • Student name
  • Grade
  • Photo file
  • Other imported data fields

If any information differs between imports, Creator Studio Pro may treat the portraits as separate records and create duplicate entries.

📁 Duplicate Candid and Standard Photos

Duplicate detection for candid and standard photo uploads works within the selected folder only.

When photos are uploaded, Creator Studio Pro consolidates and removes duplicates found in that folder. It does not compare the uploaded photos against every folder in the project. As a result, the same photo may exist in multiple folders.

✅ Before Re-importing Portraits

Before importing portrait data again, confirm that the student names, grades, photo files, and other data fields match the original import exactly. If duplicate records are created because the information differs, review the portrait data and remove or correct the duplicate entries as needed.
